Equilibrated but flat cup of coffee?
I just finished drinking of cup of French press coffee and I don't know if I nailed it down and don't know because of a life of drinking just preground moka/espresso coffee, or if something went wrong.
I used 18g of coffee for 250g of water, 12 clicks on the Hario Mini, brought the water to boil, 45s bloom, 4 mins total infusion time, then plunge the press.
The coffee didn't have the slightest bitter note, nor any sour one, but at the same time it was kinda flat. Is this what a good cup of coffee should taste liked, or should it lean more toward acidic/bitter?
