Motivation to get me back on keto
Hi friends of r/keto! I've been really needing a life change and I wanted to get back on keto in order to become healthier and happier.
I was doing keto in my first year of university and I lost 50 pounds in the span of four months. Soon after beginning my second year of university, I fell very deep into depression and fell off the wagon, and I haven't been able to successfully get back to low carb eating.
I'm currently dropping out after three years of psychology in order to pursue my childhood dream of hairdressing. I'm in the process of moving out of my dorm and finishing this semester, and it seems as if my life is changing for the better. Ultimately, I want to change my lifestyle and WOE.
How do you motivate yourself to persist on the diet and how did you motivate yourself to start? I'd love advice that I can keep in my mind when things get tough and I feel like giving up on keto. And also, how would you transition from a primarily carb filled diet to a minimal carb diet? I find that it's challenging for me to get started... but once I'm on it, I'm very dedicated.
Once again, any advice pertaining to motivation and the benefits of keto, or any little tidbits of information I can keep in mind would be gladly appreciated! Thanks!
