The 11 year payoff: The portals scene in Endgame. Truly stunning.

Every single time I watch Endgame, the scene that always sends a shiver down my spine is the portal scene with the return of the dusted heroes. It really was a landmark achievement in cinematic and pop culture history because that scene required 11 years and 21 previous movies to happen first in order to build up to that scene. It’s a remarkable event to witness in theaters as the cheering and joy heard from the audience made it even more incredible. I think it will be a very long time until we get that sort of scene again and we all should be grateful that we got to experience that firsthand. It’s the MCU’s most jaw dropping scene in the 23 movies so far and I can’t wait for how they could possibly try to top that moment.
