Should I buy this game?

Because of personal reasons, I never got around to picking FIFA 20 up at launch as I always do. Maybe that was a good call because of the backlash the game, particularly the career mode gamemode, has recieved. As an avid fan of the gamemode, I was sad to see EA butcher it so hard, with bugs and lacking features. My question is if EA has fixed the major bugs (the CL bug, starting XI bug etc.), and if the game is playable. Thank you in advance.
