Nobody should feel bad for someone who was drunk while driving

I never drink because I don't see the fun in it, alcoholic drinks don't taste good imo, most people do stupid stuff and you wake up with a hangover. But I get why some people do drink and I am totally not against it. But what I don't get is when people feel sorry for people who died or killed someone while being drunk while driving.

When someone dies the family feels bad but why? Be happy he/she was the one who died, people who drink and drive bring other people in danger because they want to have fun, idc if they can't control themselves while being drunk because if you can't you shouldn't drink at all (And for the person who is gonna say "But what if it is your first time drinking and you don't know if you can control yourself?", if it is your first time drinking you should have someone with you who isn't gonna drink).

Or when someone kills someone when being drunk and driving why would their family still feel bad when they go to prison? They thought their 'fun' evening was more important than someone elses life...
Imo there is no difference between a murderer and someone who killed someone when driving under the influence of alcohol.

That's all I got.
