Dualshock 4 Support on other distros like on manjaro(or just been recognized by steam)

Hello guys and gals,

I've been experiencing issues setting up a dualshock 4 controller on linux, because even using ds4drv, steam doesnt recognize my controller. A lot of games recognize without problem the controller , but i need to steam to recognize because monster hunter world only works with the controller if steam recognizes it.

On manjaro just connecting the controller is enought to get recognized and work on everything, without even installing ds4drv, so how manjaro does that and how can i setup the system to work like that on others distros?
