Noise levels of WD external enclosure drives.

Hello, Few questions.

• How noisy are external enclosure drives, 8TB and bigger? (WD Elements / WD My Book)
• Mostly they are 5400, or eventually you can get 7200rpm drives too?

Currently I have 2x WD40EZRZ Blue 5400 drives, and I like their noise levels, in comparison to old 7200rpm from Seagate (got it from Lacie external box).

Now I want to get another drive, but instead of 4TB, it would be interesting to try out even bigger ones. But what I heard, that external ones could be noisy AF, plus WD Reds are not the quietest ones.

Or maybe in my case its better to stick 4TB Blues?

Here in Europe we don't have such crazy deals, as US have, when you can get 12TB for 200 dollars.

Where I live 8TB Elements/MyBook is 190-220Euros, and WD 8TB Reds are 250.
