How close to content complete is Below Zero? Is it worth playing right now? [Below Zero]

Hello folks. I just finished Subnautica after being thoroughly engrossed and addicted to it for a long playthrough, taking it slow and getting over my thalassophobia bit by bit. Smelling the proverbial flowers, and I had a blast.

So I was wondering if the sequel is already in a good state? I am aware it's not finished, what I want to know is if it's too early/buggy/janky/etc. to have a good time out of it as it finishes development, or if it's already pretty good and only a few content and polishment patches away from release.
