Question about max Raid battles

If i come across a five star shiny gigantamax Pokémon and then lose the battle, does it stay as a shiny if i choose to rebattle it? I imagine it wouldn’t but I’d really like to know for when I do find one. This is still hypothetical for me as I’m about 60 hours in and I’m yet to find even a regular shiny.
