Networking advice needed. Looking for a simple solution.

Basically I have my combination modern/router upstairs and cannot run a cable into the basement. I want to hardwire my pc into a device that can connect to my network wirelessly. Does a device like this exist? Below is a basically example of what I’m trying to solve.

Modem/router - device that is connected wirelessly to my modem - Ethernet into my pc.

I’m just confused with all he different types of extenders etc. Any help would be much appreciated.
