Does the sun ever shine here?

I've been in town since last week and when I drove in coming from the South the "winter ceiling" started in Washington County. Since then I haven't seen one bit of sunlight and the forecast looks solidly cloudy for the next 10 days.

I grew up in Pittsburgh but with everything being gray I forgot how depressing it is. What do you do to cope?
