How much would I actually get for a “No Service” iPhone 7??

I have a “renewed” 128GB iPhone 7. It succumbed to the dreaded “No Service” defect, but since it’s refurbished by a third party, Apple wouldn’t do a repair.

I’m purchasing a new phone now, but Apple offered $150 “toward the upgrade” for a trade-in. Realistically, after they presumably take out repair and cleaning costs, how much would I actually expect to be getting? Has anyone tried trading in a phone with this issue?

(I figure, no one is going to want to buy an iPhone that doesn’t work as a phone, so this is my best way to get rid of it if I don’t keep it as the value just falls over time)
