Anyone else lose Campaign interest when new content announced?

This is in no way meant to be a knock against the content, more just a commentary on how new content being released changes ny approach to current campaigns.

I love a good Mortal Empires play through. Currently playing as Empire, when suddenly the new Darkblade DLC announced. And then I lose interest until it's out.

It's not that I want to play as the new DLC faction either, its more that when the new factions are placed and the the map is tweaked to fit them in; the game definitely changes. Even if my current faction is placed nowhere near the new stuff. I just feel continuing my current playthrough is now pointless as in a week or so I wud want that new DLC faction to exist in my world.

I wonder; could there not be a way for new DLC pieces to just turn up in existing worlds? Haha. Dont worry I know that's not possible.

But yeah, anyone else just switch off at this point till the DLC comes out? It's almost like I need less notice of the DLC so I can just add and restart LOL.
