A rather short book that you find meaningful

Hi fellow readers.

I fell a bit behind on my book count this year. I set a goal of 15 books for 2019 and the tally adds up to 12. I'm currently reading two which I'll be finishing in the next week or two, which makes 14.

I want to accomplish this goal and a short book (less than 300 pages) might be more suitable. I'd still want it to have some meaning, to teach me a thing or two or to know that it caused some impact on the life of another human being.

I also noticed that most of the books I read were written by men, so female authors will have priority.

I'm open to your suggestions.
