Do this with your mewing to get optimum results and PREVENT asymmetry
Most of are here because we are aware of the aesthetics of appearance and want to maximize our own, unfortunately with mewing, comes somewhat of a major risk: making your face extremely asymmetrical.
To prevent this is fairly easy, there are key parts of the face containing strong muscles when a muscle on one side of the face is shorter, weaker or defected due to injury/genetics etc the muscles on the opposite side try to compensate. When mewing (especially hard mewing) you are advancing the growth/projection of your jaw in a shorter period of time than it would happen naturally as a result, one of the consequences of this is that you may also speed up asymmetrical growth on your face. To prevent any asymmetry from short/weak muscles stretch them (particularly the affected one).
This youtube video goes through the main ones, but there are heaps out there just type in asymmetry muscle stretches :)
