Need the hive mind's help finding an article I don't even know exists.

I am doing some research for an academic debate, I am trying to find an article that criticizes using the term 'lame duck' to refer to politicians. My notion is that it might be offensive to animal rights advocates to describe animals so coldly, the term tends to devalue animal suffering the same way killing animals devalues their suffering. However, I need to find some articles that make this same argument, I have had no luck but reddit seems to be the best place to go to find seemingly impossible things on the internet.
