Festive Golf R?

I want to do something special for my car during the holidays. Some friends and family I haven't seen in quite some time will be in town, so I want to go a bit over the top when I pick them up from the airport.

Initially, I wanted to do a Christmas paper wrap on my car, but given the recent rain in my area, I don't think it's a great idea. I've also thought about doing Christmas lights, but any exterior lights mounted on my car is illegal in IL. I'm still trying to figure that one out with the local PD.

Any ideas or suggestions on how to make the car a bit more festive? I have a Lapiz Mk7.5 R.

Go stage 2+, then laugh as they shit their pants on the ride home.

If IE comes out with their stage 2 before the next weekend, I can absolutely do that!

I think it's fast enough for passengers to reach for the grab handle so far with the stage 1 ECU and TCU tunes.

Honestly, I wouldn't do anything crazy. If I were you, I'd look for magnets. Easy to take off, you can get large or small kinds, and somewhat inexpensive.

Oh, that's not a bad idea. Hopefully I can find something strong enough to stick onto my car over the clear bra...

If you have a roof rack, put some fake presents on it with some battery powered Xmas lights!

Not yet, but I'm saving this for next year!

This was the first thing I thought of! I've ultimately decided against it as the red nose would cover up the sensors on the emblem in the front. Having a red nose on top of the VW logo just looks weird, I think.
