Not saying I support Fallout 76 repeating as hottest mess, but I understand people that do with yet another game breaking bug from the latest patch

Tbh I don't really feel sympathy for the people still playing this game. If you get burnt constantly and keep coming back, you're just a schmuck
Even if you, for reasons I don't really understand, enjoy the core gameplay of Fallout 76 it should be clear at this point that Bethesda isn't really interested in fixing bugs or creating a stable community.

I think this is a little harsh. I would say it is clear that Bethesda isn't capable of fixing the bugs.
I'm amazed that people went through with their pre orders and were surprised that the game was hot garbage when Bethesda released a press release a week before the game came out and said "Yo, this game is fucking bad"
A company actually issued a statement on their own product before its release and threw it under the bus. That's fucking bonkers. And people still bought the gane
I don't think it could get hottest mess because of the complete apathy for the game from the Giant Bomb crew.
At this point, Fallout 76 being a hot mess is considered normal. It’s like the Springfield Tire Fire. It would be weird if Fallout 76 wasn’t constantly on fire.

If nothing else all I think about whenever I hear about this game is all the people who defended it a launch using games like Destiny and No Man’s Sky as examples of games launching disappointing and turning it around. People used that to defend 76 and Anthem yet here we are now and... no. The lesson to be learned is that just because someone else fixed their thing doesn’t mean everyone can and will. Also, stop excusing games launching broken or lacking in content. If they want you to pay $60, it had better be worth it at launch, not in 6 months when they maybe fix it.
People should have learned in 2014 with the Master Chief Collection. Everyone said, "Its Halo, they will fix it!" It took years for that to happen.
I am stunned that people still play this game.
This is coming from someone that still plays Skyrim
Unless I'm missing something I wouldn't call this game breaking, just awful.
I'd say it's in between the two? Your endgame armor isn't really viable anymore, so while the game doesn't actually snap into pieces, it at least splinters apart.
It's pretty bad I'll give you that. In my mind "game breaking" is reserved for literally making something unplayable.
That being said this game seems like a fucking trainwreck.
You’re right. Poorly worded on my part.
I mean it's a bug probably can be repaired with a quick hotfix.
And it looks like a strange spaghetti-code bug that is hard to playtest for really.
