Ares seems to have sold well on the concierge early release.
Around 800k sales today. So soon after the end of year sales is pretty good. Wonder which will win over all the Mole or the Ares?

I think it will do well, there has been a lot of calls for a medium miner.

It will be interesting to see what the $$ looks like with the Ares once it is live to all backers.
I do not think the Mole will surpass it if they keep it so that the pilot cannot mine... I have a feeling they will change that, but I hope not. I like the balance it forces between that and a prospector... yes, you can solo this ship but at the cost of not being in complete control at all times.

Yeah if it had a laser for the pilot and same carry cap per player as the prospector, i'd be more confident in it keeping up with the Ares in sales.

What do you like the most about it? TBH the best thing for me is the look of the ship, it looks so much more like an industrial ship than the prospector.
The size of lasers is great.

Yep, industrial, multi mining lasers, could've used a bump in it's cargo size, but not terrible.
Now we just need the cost.

Its typically the utilitarian ships who become more popular, like the Carrack or Corsair.
