Flame orb RNG

Hello all, I've been having trouble recently getting the flame orb from the dancing pokeball guy after beating the tournament (probably beat tournament 60+ times in the past 3 days) and I've still have had no luck at all (rip). Are there any tips or tricks to getting the flame orb I'm missing or is it pure RNG?
