Cacti pesticide, fungicide and fertilizer advice?

The standard here for succulent/cactus growers is osmocote 13-13-13, starkle g granules (dinotefuran) pesticide and captan (don’t know if you guys ever heard of that one) fungicide.

Should this be safe for consumption? I also plan to run the stack on some other Amazonian shrubs and vines just with different soil composition

I would encourage a healthy microbiome with compost tea and mycorrhizae.

That will take care of all three of those problems.

Hmm I have some great white myco in hand. I used to have a really bad problem with white flies. They are gonna tear it up if I don’t use the pesticide I think. It’s meant to be g for fruits and veg so should be alright.

What compost tea recipe do you use?. EWC?

Indoors?

Don't use Neem oil.

A couple things, do you have rocks/perlite/something at the bottom of your pot?

If so, don't do that. Repot immediately with your soil mix all throughout.

I would try a couple things depending on what works best for you.

Beneficial Nematodes

Diatomaceous Earth

Nicotine salt in water in a spray bottle.

Alright, I didn’t put any gravel at the bottom. Only for my trichocereus the very first one I put coir chunks just to stop the soil falling out. I will look into buying those items.

The compost tea, I just make it with whatever I have. Coffee grounds, Mykos, Great White, Castings, Tea, Kelp, Alfalfa. Whatever.
