I got an 8 on physics paper 1 and felt like Issac Newton lol

Thank you, we only did paper 1 for the sciences, I’m really not looking forward to paper 2

I think I've probably failed most of mine too. We've not got our results back yet tho

Those results are so good man, Im really disappointed with mine because I failed Biology and Chemistry

At GCSE Physics, the only maths that you need is plugging numbers into linear equations, with the occasional algebra manipulation. There’s not much advanced mathematics, and it’s not usually used to explain the phenomena you learn at GCSE. It’s only when you reach A-Level that a good understanding of Maths finally becomes a huge part of Physics. So it’s understandable to get a higher grade in Physics than Maths

The maths papers were horrible as well, but yeah, the physics is basically just multiplicaron and division

I got this result as well, and I did no revision for maths, so I missed out a ton of marks just because I didn't know how to do a lot of questions. For physics I did revise, although maths made up a very small portion of the papers, and if there was any maths it was just inserting numbers into an equation. So yeah, definitely possible, especially if you don't revise for maths.

lmao how did u get a 9 in physics but 7 in maths

Definitely watch Ali Abdul on YouTube and his active recall, Anki and Google Sheets method trust me it really helps ☺️

And also I watched the free science lessons videos on required practicals, writing my own methods!

Are you going to the College of Richard Collyer next year ?

Mostly Seneca, however I’m kinda naturally lucky. I only really revised for the sciences, but for them I’d recommend the aqa revision guides or e books on kerboodle, I just made notes from them and read through the key points.

Share you techniques with us, about how you revised .. 🤗🤗🤗 pls

Thats absolutely amazing, you'll do fine in June.

(This is coming from someone who got 6s in his mocks then went and got an 8 in bio in June)

Not OP but I got a 9 and am predicted AstarA in A level maths and further maths. Just do practice papers and practice questions for the topics you struggle with. That’s what I did for GCSE and still do now.

Also not OP but DM me if there’s a question you find difficult and I’ll see if I can explain it! I got a 9 at GCSE and I’m doing A Level so it’ll be a relief to see an approachable question.

daaammnn well done!! How do you revise maths?? i get mine on Wednesday ive been told i just barely passed higher maths :/

Nice results bro especially the sciences - I got 866 in my mocks

If you want 9s in sciences, get the CGP books and basically memorise them. They're pretty good and do past papers and mark them yourself so you know what examiners are looking for and so you know what you need to do more work on

Not op but I got nines in each science and I just used seneca.

CGP books are insanely good for science revision, just learn the content and answer the questions, use free science lessons for concepts you don’t understand and Seneca for recall, got all 9s in my mocks this way

Do you go to 'The Forest School' in Epping Forest?

I’ve cooked my dinner at home for the past 4 years and also did work experience in a kitchen. You begin to pick up concepts as you cook, it just becomes natural. I do recommend the Seneca course though for the nutritional side though.

Yo dude how tf did you get 9 in food? Please share

Oh my god that’s so good! Wish my grades looked like this lol

We only did language mocks, we do the literature ones in February

Why didn't you get 2 grades for English? Like English Literature and English Language

those are so good man, wish me luck on my mocks next year 😰

Ha, I passed everything but English Lit and business (in business I had all the right ideas, I was just too vague).

Got my mock results back
