To A, the woman I should have asked out but made the mistake of asking your friend out instead (this one is a long one)
In the beginning I had decided to only ask one of you two out since you seemed to be so close friends. And as she might have told you, we never went on a second date, so I decided to not ask you out at all. It was not because of looks, because you're the prettier one. And I am sorry if it looked like I ignored you, like in the cafeteria, like that one time I was talking to someone. I was meant to turn and talk to you once I finished that quick smalltalk subject, but I was too slow. I never intended to be rude or cold towards you and I hope you don't think I dislike you but like your friend. And I must say that our first meeting was wonderful! And I must say that I am a fan of your style of clothing, it is both interesting and modest.
I guess I was just in a confusing period of my life, because the reason that I ended up asking your friend out instead of you is stupid. Because during our first meeting (which I thoroughly enjoyed), you showed me that you knew so much about Catholicism that it made me a bit nervous. That is because I am trying to learn about it and eventually (maybe) convert. I felt that if I asked you out, that idea would be put to the test, which made me nervous. I did not think about it at all past that immediate intuition. But something changed during the semester, about one and a half month after the date with your friend.
What happened was that I saw the cutest smile I have ever seen in my life: yours. And that dispelled that intuition completely. What dispelled it was not seeing your smile once, but many times in a short time span (like several times a week) for a short period. It made me actually reflect on my previous intuition and coming to the conclusion that it is not a bad thing that you know so much about Catholicism, but a GREAT thing! But sadly it happened during the busiest time of the semester.
If you see this, I want to wish you a merry christmas! And beware, I will most likely ask you out in the beginning of the next semester. Also, on one side I want you to see this and send me the link to this post on Facebook to prove it. On the other hand that is not the goal with this, because I will ask you out anyway.
It was good to let it all out. And congratulations for reading this novel! And if I seem socially awkward, I am only that way when I have not drunk enough coffee.
