2016 to 2019 - Thank you!
I remember watching the first Death Stranding trailer back in June 2016 the day it was released - it was during a particularly difficult part of my life and it resonated completely with me. I subscribed to this subreddit almost immediately, and joined in the discourse surrounding the trailer.
Those early days were rife with analysis and guesswork, and I'm sure none of us anticipated quite what the game truly had in store. But it's beautiful in a way that three years before it was released, before we had any idea of the game's themes, we were all co-operating together and sharing in the experience - a theme integral to the finished product.
I want to say thank you to those on this subreddit, whether you participated back in 2016 or just subscribed today.
Keep on keeping on!
