Save me from Stephen King!

So it’s taken me almost five years to finish the dark tower series. This has also included reading books linked to the series like Salem’s lot, hearts in Atlantis, various short story collections and while they’re good books I’ve decided no more Stephen King in 2020. Books I’ve read in between mr. king are science fiction by authors like Michael Crichton, Arthur c Clarke and Frank Herbert, historical such as a biography on Isabella of Castile and fantasy books by Pratchett, Gaiman and just started the tales of Earthsea series. My personal favourite books are A tree grows in Brooklyn, I, Claudius and Dune. Don’t mind a bit of non fiction, especially historical or science, and I’ve been recommended the Right Stuff by Tom Wolfe. Any other recommendations for 2020? Anything but Stephen King!
