Better hold off until you have enough for powerbeats pro, there's going to be soon a price drop anyway so just stay tuned

Powerbeats3 is good but I would wait for Pros

Go for the Powerbeats Pro. Some users reported it for having issues, but the reason for me to recommend PBP is that it is new tech.

Wait for discounts after Xmas if you can.

Keep looking for sales...I'm in Canada, but here I've notice few sales on the Powerbeats 3, but a few on the Powerbeats Pro...I just got the Pros for $100 off MSRP. And buy AppleCare +! There seem to be enough issues with Beats that it's a decent investment.

My AirPods are not great workout earbuds so need an alternative. Any suggestions?

Should I get Beats Powerbeats 3 for xmas or hold off on them until I have enough for Powerbeats pro?
