That’s a nice touch. It’s easy to forget that other people have their own troubles while we get wrapped up in our own lives. Well done.

I like to cover shifts for my coworkers, especially on days when they need to go see their families. I'm not looking for recognition or anything, but it's dumb that when someone's relative is sick that the first thing they have to worry about is their shift. I want people to be happy spending time with those they love, and if covering a stupid two hour shift during the day ensures that, then why wouldn't I do it? Also, we all have a fixed income per semester (University Job) so it's not like I get paid anymore either. I just want the people around me to be happy, and it's really hard to be happy here sometimes.

Haha, don't worry! Discord is a chatting crevice, and the twitch emotes is basically just custom emojis :) He likes to send me them a lot

I’m going to be honest here. The majority of that doesn’t make much sense to me. I’m definitely feeling old now.

Discord Nitro. My bf loves to spam twitch emotes, so now he has the pleasure of spamming me 24/7.

I’m sure he was. It must be difficult to be that age and not have the energy to do that and argue with someone at the same time. It wasn’t as if he’d have meant for it to happen.

Some old bloke was arguing with a taxi driver out the front of his house. His dog had got the front door open and was running around the road. The old bloke could hardly chase him because he was recovering from surgery on his Achilles heel.

I got a hold of the dog and put him inside and then I helped the oldy in and made my way. He was pretty thankful!

Everyone needs to eat and money definitely helps with that. Thank you cards are a nice touch. Recognition in the work place goes a long way to lifting the mood. kudos

I donate Plasma (I really do it for the money because I need to eat but if it helps someone else out, then we both mutually benefit) and I gave out Thank You cards to my co-workers because and I wanted to let them know I appreciate them and I figured it would be a nice surprise for them.

It’s the little gestures that make a huge difference to people. A small act of kindness and you can still remember it today. Uplifting

I do this too because I am perpetually broke, and we have more food stamps than we need. Fuck selling them.

Several years ago, I was just leaving the supermarket after buying myself several packets of chocolate with my limited amount of pocket money when I saw a homeless man sitting outside, asking for coins. I felt horrible because I'd just bought myself sweets when he had nothing, so I took out a packet of M&Ms and gave it to him. It wasn't much, but I can still remember his smile as he took the chocolate :)

You are the reason I posted this question. Thank you for all you do.

He's a variety streamer, but some of the stuff he plays are DayZ, WoW, Rust, and Mount & Blade.

A guy I know streams for 0 viewers most of the time, until I came in of course. I try to keep his counter on 1 viewer and talk until the stream ends.

I'm sure it means a lot, since he said it motivated him to keep streaming. He's a good streamer and he should continue.

For all you givers, what simple acts have you done to improve someone’s life?
