I heard a sneeze in my head and came up with a crazy theory

Laying in bed creating what if scenarios in my head at my usual imaginary table (it’s always a table in a semi-busy restaurant for some reason). I’m saying to myself sitting across from me “what if quiet sneeze as if a stranger is about 2m from me— bless you—[starts saying odd scenario]” but then I stop mid sentence. I stop because I just said bless you...to an imaginary person...in an imaginary restaurant...in my head. This is a first. I’ve never been interrupted or distracted in my own thoughts.

But that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Now I’m laying here thinking what if we’ve all got some entity living in our minds that is supposed to just sit and observe/record useful memories (or at least memories that it finds important—hence useless memories like the JG Wentworth jingle), but we’re not supposed to be able to interact with it and mine just messed up by fucking sneezing before I was asleep because it thought I was already asleep and it was free to do as it pleases because it’s “off work”.

This is why we don’t remember dreams very often because our entities aren’t working so they aren’t recording like they are when we’re awake and they’re “at work.” However, those times when we randomly remember dreams because of something we see or because of how mentally upsetting they were are really just our entities daydreaming or reliving last night’s drama when they’re supposed to be recording memories just like we humans daydream when we’re supposed to be working.

Dreams aren’t imaginary, they’re a live-feed to our entities lives from their POV. This is why you usually can’t control the way a dream goes and can do things you never could in real life. Your entity doesn’t have the same restrictions that we as corporeal beings do. They can do whatever they want and can use whatever they want from your memory bank to do it because your memories are their own personal notes. When you’re asleep, it’s your entity’s turn to take the reigns and have some fun.

Entities only have one rule: don’t make contact with your human. I guess mine just really had to sneeze.
