Oh Christ no. Don’t record and put it on YouTube. Worst idea ever.

As a former teacher, I implore you not to do that. Teachers have enough to deal with as it is without humiliation on social media.

I agree that the teacher is not dealing with it effectively and I can’t see any evidence of behaviour management from what you have posted. If that is the case, then that’s why they are doing it. No consequences for their behaviour.

My advice is to log evidence, tell your HOD in the first instance (email preferably so you have a paper trail), if it’s not dealt with effectively, then escalate to Head of sixth form. Use student voice. If still not being dealt with, go to head/principal. Have a paper trail.

Have you tried telling them to knock it off? Or are they that much of inconsiderate dumbasses that you don’t feel comfortable enough to do it?

if her class is getting hijacked then she is, be the definition of what a teacher is meant to do, not a good teacher.

oh the teacher does. she is constantly telling them to quieten down so she can teach but they never listen. she's a good teacher but the kids are too loud for her. also, i wouldn't be able to record with my phone. in my school, if you get caught with your phone they keep it in school for 3 days so i'm not risking that

not at all. but if I'm being frank I don't think simply complaining about it is going to suffice. I think you need to record with your phone there shity disruptive behavior and then post it on YouTube and then pass that video anonymously to whoever the teachers boss is.

frankly the teacher should know better than to let the students hijack the class.

If your teacher is the unit head, they should know better and have a firmer hand.

Fight for your education and complain away. NTA

NTA. Make sure you have good evidence and make it clear this is affecting your ability to learn and study.

It's possible that your school is aware of these students bad behaviour and is acting on it, but building a solid case is important if they are to be dealt with properly.

The school also needs to know if a teacher isn't able to control a class or keep up with the curriculum, particularly at A level.

Be clear this isn't personal, it's academic, and you are there not to get them into trouble but to protect your right to education.

so i do Eng Lit A-level. it's super hard and we need to focus every lesson because it's like university where we have to teach ourselves the material. we have 2 teachers for Eng

in my class (there's 8 of us) 5 people in my class make me want to drop the class. they are loud and obnoxious, constantly talking over the teacher and other classmates and will randomly irrupt into either loud laughter or an argument about something not related to the class. it's super frustrating when me and the other 2 people in my class (including me) are trying to write notes and suddenly someone disagrees with something the teacher said and is now debating he

ESH. It's your teacher's fault and it's literally their job to manage the class.
