Are folk rejecting shadows?

I just had a rejection on one of my subs that I was expecting to pass quite easily. About the only thing I can see that people could possibly have picked up is that my shadow is in the photo. Are there really people rejecting on that? It was a sunny winter morning so not getting a shadow on it would have been a bit difficult.
