You can tell a bit of the video was cut right after the car comes to a stop, probably just for gif length.

Wonder what caused him to lose control like that. Didn't see any damage before the first hit, seemed to just suddenly fly across the front of the recording semi.

I dunno if it was a recording semi... the windshield looks too low to the ground to me, since the glass does look to be vertical tho I'm betting it's a bus. I think the lucky fucker was driving like an asshat. If recording vehicle is A and travel bus to the right is B - I think A was starting to pass B, lucky asshat was too impatient for that and went to weave in between trying to pass both. He basically cut off A in the process, he swerved too aggressively too fast and subsequently lost control.

There’s a bus that’s close to the cam vehicle in the right lane. I’m assuming by the angle he comes into camera view that he was probably weaving between cars at a high speed, because it looks like he tries to squeeze in between the cam car and the bus and then lost control of the vehicle, slamming right into the semi.
I also can’t tell if the road is wet, the light reflecting on it makes it look really shiny.
