Toothpick patient as one of House's fellows

SPOILERS

This occured to me earlier this week, it would have been a good idea to bring the toothpick patient as one of the people in season 4 trying to apply as one of House's fellows.

He showed that he had some medical knowledge and Foreman even told him to apply as an intern or something in one of the departments.

Even if he wasn't one of the three to win a spot it still probably would have been good as a storyline.

What do you guys think?

Meh idk. His story ended with the episode and he ended up admitting that he'd rather follow his culture because he knew that even with the restraints it brought, he at least would be with people he cares about and wouldn't end up lonely. He's also way too young to have been part of the team. His team members are experienced doctors that are medical geniuses in their own rights, not some random kid that's smarter than average for his age

By the time season 4 comes around that kid wouldn't even be halfway through medical school, so he wouldn't have been much help to House. He only accepted Masters because Cuddy forced him too, and she was a genius months away from graduation. Also that kid valued spending time with his family more than anything else, so he never would have made it on the team.

Yeah, but still would've made sense storywise if they wanted to bring in an old character to at least try to join. Like the old man didn't have a medical degree but House let him stay a while.

That patient really wasn't one if my favorites but it would've added an extra layer and extra character we would know in the competition.
