To be continued...?

Just wanted to see if this happens to anyone else! I wrote a quick, short one-shot (~1k) earlier today and posted it to Ao3, marking it as complete at 1/1 chapters. I've received one comment so far, and all it says is basically, "Looking forward to the update!"

I'm happy that this person liked it enough to want more, but I'm kind of confused.

I guess my question is: how often (if ever) do you guys receive comments like this? And are there any pleasantly confusing comments you've received recently that you'd like to talk about?
