May have to snag one anyway, just to do my part to make it popular enough for them to justify a G2 version haha.

Yeah I wish that it took a Pilot G2 type refill as well.

I very much wish it took a larger refill. Make that thing take a Pilot G2 and I'd buy one in a heartbeat. I've always liked what I've heard about Machine Era stuff, but I don't have much use for twist cap pens. This would be much more effective. Who knows, may still cave and buy one anyway.

Same here man, I have the original and the markup. Both solid pens and always wished they built a standard size pen. Idealy it would have been something to compete with the likes of tactile turn / Ti Scribe. But im hyped for this one anyway and juped on the pre-order, I trust this will be a great clicker pen.

I ordered one and love the way it looks! I have two other Machine Era pens and feel confident the TEK will have the same build quality.

The clip on the TEK is supposed to be the same as what they used on the Twist pen released prior the Markup. It’s not as nice as the machined clips in their bolt pen, but is much better than that on the Markup. I have those pens to compare. The clip does do a good job for its intended purpose though.

I’m really looking forward to this pen. They have come up with a new finish and the grip pattern looks really nice. Curious how the click mechanism feels. Machine Era make some of the nicest quality pens. I would love for them to bring out some Ti versions.

I have the machine era original and mark-up and love the build quality of the pens. I have always hoped machine era would bring out a more standard pen, one which i could bring into the office and use for longer writing spells as the compact nature of their alternatives and twist caps hasnt really been suited to that.

Seeing them announce the TEK has me excited and cant wait to get my hands on it and give it a try. Only real concern from the initial images is the clip choice, i was left dissapointed with the mark up clip and felt its only real use was to stop the pen rolling away. I hope this clip performs to a better standard than that. Besides this i like the clean look, with a hint of the machine industry look with the grid grip section.

Looked at it and I dislike the way the knurling is done. It looks sloppy. What's with the clip? I mean that's a throwback to a long time ago. No. Pass.

Machine Era TEK - I have been looking forward to ME bringing out a more standard style pen. Whats are your first impressions ?
