Issue with sidenote and my sound set-up

So currently I have my Arctis 7 connected directly to my monitor via a 3.5mm audio jack, so that I can hear the game sound from my PS4, while OBS is also picking it up, while my mic is also used on the PS4, but I'm not getting audio through the USB.

This works very fine for me, however I have sidenote on my headset, but when I use the left volume rocker on the headset to turn down the volume, I also can't hear the sidenote anymore.

I've figured that the volume of the headset needs to be at MAX to be able to hear the sidenote, which works fine when using it through USB on the PS4 since I can control the volume of the PS4 while leaving the headset at max.

However the way I have it now, I need to use the headset to turn down the PS4 volume, but I want to retain the sidenote volume.

Is there any way to make it so the sidenote isn't tethered to the headset volume? It seems kind of stupid to be restricted to keeping it on max volume because, that's really loud when it comes to gaming.
