Good man Lucas. Too bad he did it with Nazio.

People on here complain about Lazio but ignore Fabinho and Alisson's connection to Bolsonaro...

Some of this sub supports Rangers. There’s always going to be “look the other way” moments, just depends on which you want to bring up and discuss.

I mean I can’t think of anything Rangers have done under Stevie (or ever, but I haven’t been paying attention to them before Stevie) that compares to Lazio fans holding a Nazi march through the streets of Glasgow or burning down the Amazon rainforest.

33
sokoteur•

I mean considering you haven’t paid attention to them before literally last year, you can’t really speak on what they’ve done. There’s plenty of instances of racial abuse from fans, including banners from their supporters groups (one I remember was abusing Nakamura for being Asian). I’m not saying it’s the same as Nazi marches, but I find it hypocritical for Liverpool supporters to support Rangers given their history. You can support Stevie while also criticizing Rangers.

I mean, the orange marches are pretty wild.

Is Alisson a minion too?

Haven’t heard about this, can you explain pls?

Fab's wife gushed about the fash constantly when he was running/president-elect.

How well supported is Bolsonaro in Brazil? Also, seeing how politics in South America operate, speaking against him would endanger their family. He’s a cunt, but it’s a different world than what many of us live in. (United States, England, continental Europe, etc...)

rogeriorosajr•

“Endanger their family” What the hell are you talking about? It’s not Nazi Germany ffs

28
Mr_MikeHancho•

So Bolsonaro is the worst but he’s above using political pressure or threats against an athletes family?

-12
DoctorUnderhill•

Tite has shown his disdain towards Bolsonaro on multiple occasions but hasn't had his life endangered.

There is a commonly held belief in Brazil that their top 1%, which includes millionaire footballers, get a bit iffy about protecting their newfound wealth and tend to support politicians who lick the arse of the rich.

They just don't want to pay income tax I guess. It's hard to imagine Alisson and Fab approving of his other policies considering their upbringing.

rogeriorosajr•

Yeah, you don’t know what you’re talking about mate.

Brazilian politics are much more complex then “not wanting to pay income tax” and supporting politician A or politician B won’t get your life in danger (why would it?)

I would suggest being a bit more informed next time you’re gonna talk about another country’s political system.

18
ImmediatelyOcelot•

Are you kidding me? Speaking shit about Bolsonaro is a national past-time for the 50% of the population that didnt get him elected, and no, nothing ever happened to them.

As far as I know, I would fear speaking badly of Trump in the us way more than I fear speaking badly of Bolsonaro here in Brazil.

Exactly. We have many, many problems but freedom isn’t one of them. Pisses me off to see clowns like these talking about stuff they’re clueless about.

I am really happy for him, going to a team that needs him and plays his strength... And now winning against Juventus of all teams!

Genuinely happy for him!

What did he win, was it the Italian Cup?

Basically the Italian Community Shield.

Cody667•

Seems to mean alot more in Italy though...I wonder if that's because they have it midseason instead of during pre-season like we do.

20
kuruta_tribe•

It is alot more really. They actually has it's own Trophy and go to extra time unlike CS.

Italian Supercup. It was between Juventus for being the Serie A champion and Lazio for being the Italian Cup champion.

Lucas kept Ronaldo in his pocket.

I didn't see the game or if Ronny even played, but this is what I have decided.

Never forget that month long span where he was the best DM in the world, just clowning on world class midfielders for fun - respect and congrats!

Emre left as a complete professional. I have no hard feelings for Emre.

Actually I feel for him. I wouldn't blame him for wanting to go during these times. It's only that he wasn't able to make the best out of such move. Could have been a beast for us in vital league games against stubborn mid table teams.

this is the 2nd tier domestic cup for italy?
