PSA: your online portfolios BEST have variety

The number one thing I hear from women who want boudoir photos is: “I don’t look like the women on so and so’s Instagram feed so I don’t feel brave enough to do them.”

PSA: include women (and men if you’ve got) that are non-thin, non-white, have stretch marks, roots, glasses, zits whatever. Boudoir as a genre is not exclusively made for thin, long haired, gorgeous white women. (Don’t get me wrong, they deserve photos too) However, it’s your job to create space for non typical women to feel comfortable getting photos done.

That starts with your feed. Show them.
