Origin of 60 Card main deck limitation
I habe jist learned something hilarious and I would like everyone else to know.
Have you ever asked yoyrself why we have a 60 card limitation for the main deck? The limitation for the extra deck makes sence.
Apparently the rules exist because in 2007 someone at a german regional tournament played a deck with 2222 cards. The deck contained many cards that would shufle the deck. It really long to shufle but was completely legal. And because of that occurance we now have the 60 card limitation.
I have read this on multiple websites on the internet. I am not completely shure if this is all right but it's still an interresting story.
