Give guest my last name ?

When a guest is complaining and they ask for you First and Last name, is it mandatory to give them your last name ?

She going to complain to someone lol, and demanded my last name and I told her I can only give her my first name only because I didn’t want to give it to her. I mean do any front desk agents have to give their last names ?
