Just got a SC for the first time in 6+ months
100 detonation flags.
...Thanks WG, I totally preferred that over the 4-1200 coal of a regular resource container.

Depends on how many you had. Det flags are mandatory on dds.
I already had like 150. Also, you can buy 100 det flags in the armory for 4 million credits or so. Either way, it doesn't feel like a very 'super' reward
2.4 million credits for 20 flags - tell me your secrets pls
I see 1.9 million for 20, which is what the wiki lists. In any case, I don't use enough of them to actually have to buy them, so the cost isn't really a factor. Even at the price you're getting, its still 12 million credits for 100. While 12 million is a decent chunk of change, it's not an insurmountable number, especially if you don't use them frequently like I do.
Ouch, too bad - yeah, SC's should not have flags ( unless lots of REALLY good ones)
As a person that plays a lot as a DD, that is a really good flag :p
Deto flags are one of the best you can get. Most useless are the heal flags.
Heal flags aren't bad at all. Worst ones are flood recovery flags imo.
How though, those are real nice on BBs
Yes but most of the time, flooding is dealt with damage control party. Flood recovery flags isn't that useful unless you got flooded while the damage control is on cooldown, which with correct timing and usage, shouldn't happen that much
Since when were heal flags bad? 20% more healing potential is nothing to scoff at
Not bad, but theyre so easy to get. So i don't want them from supercontainers. I just said useless as i have like what, maybe 150 deto flags, but over 2k healing flags.
I suppose, one day I ran out of them because I use them on everything pretty much. And it's easier to get dreadnaughts with the flags so I was scrounging for them for a while
Nice reward really unless you already have hundreds of millions of credits
I've gotten a handful of supercontainers in the half-year i've been playing.
As a relatively new player, I can use (most) flags and camos, so it's not like I mind getting them, but of course it isn't exactly what I hoped for.
Depending on the flag or camo that the SC has, I'd usually also rather have the coal.
Yeah, especially since you can buy flags for a fairly small amount of silver now.
Honestly I'd rather SCs give out more varieties of flags. Ideally 50x all economic or all combat flags, but even 10x all economic and combat flaga is nicer than 100x probably useless flags.
Det flags are actually useful.
Imagine getting ram flags.
Has anyone benefitted from using a ram flag before? I wonder
The only time I can think of was the Benham/Master of the Sea event. One of the mission from the directive was getting kills by ramming. If you have the flag on and the other boat didn't, you may survive and play on.
I always put this flag on clan war, sometimes ramming giving you tactical advantages.
ngl I pulled 2 SC's yesterday when I was trying to get my resource crates. Only Charlie London flags and camos though.
Can I have those detonation flags? Being fairly paranoid, I run them on pretty much every ship I have, even battleships, lol
DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THOSE FLAGS.
I use them ALL the time, and it helps a lot. Almost every match I find myself getting detonated, and with them, I can finally live in peace
I understand the potential value, but I get detonated so rarely that I never run them, and since I basically only play random battles there's never really enough at stake for me to care. And with their relatively low cost in the armory (20 for 1M credits) and a few premium ships/camos that are decent money makers, the value doesn't really match what I typically associate with supercontainers, even excluding the potential ship drops (lots of coal/FXP or some doubloons/camos).
Fair enough
I got my first super container with 50 camos - 100% xp boost just the other day
I recently got one when I wanted resources too, got 50 New Years camos. Yaaay, I guess.
