Keeping these three from snatching food today has been a real logistical challenge. Similar to the fox/grain/chicken problem but dog/dog/dog/turkey.

Take over the chicken, then come back, take over the grain, bring the chicken back. Take the fox over then go back and bring the chicken. I just lined up three stocking stuffers on my desk to act that out so I hope I got it

This is the accepted solution but I feel like in the transitions some grain and most of the chicken would be eaten.

You should have cooked them their own turkey, problem solved!

I bet the little ‘un is the worst/pooch most likely to succeed!

You’re 100% correct.

Story of my life, mate. I only have one but he is ridiculously food driven. Took it as a huge success today at the in laws, that the only thing he managed to get his muzzle into was a bowl of whipped cream.

The kennel in our spare room works well here...

It would have to fit all three otherwise there’d be major FOMO and whining.

One kennel per dog. They can whine all they like. The door is closed, & we're in the dining room.

Stealing food is the first step to the dog asserting itself as alpha in your pack. Stealing food & begging at mealtime is not to be tolerated, unless you want bigger issues later on.

I turned my back on my open fridge for two seconds (I was sorting out festive chocolate) and heard a rustling ....

Turned around to see my Staffy licking the turkey which was covered in tin foil LOL.

Maybe just training them properly would help

Thanks so much for the unsolicited advice, it’s really helpful.
