I was testing Dracoslayer on YGOPro and had this duel. This was too good of a duel so I feel like I had to share it with you guys :)
The gameplan is exactly what I did in this duel. You go through the Extra Deck lineup of Dracoslayer, then make Apollousa and Hope Harbinger. If you have Gate Zero then you should also be able to make Vortex through Absolute. Then in turn 3 you just make Z-ARC with Anaconda and ruins your opponent's face.
Here is the decklist, I'm still working on it but I feel like it's pretty good. Do you guys have any suggestions?

God I hate DRNM. I know is a necessary card, but it feels so cheap to use and to be in the recieving end of it.

Okay that Anaconda play into Miracle Fusion to summon Z-arc was pretty sick.
Would it apply to Dowsing Fusion as well to summon Z-arc in that scenario?

Dowsing Fusion won't work actually because the other 3 materials aren't Pendulum Monsters.

What about the Tenyi Link or the Zefra Link instead of Decode Talker? They have better markers and highrer base ATK. You could also try that new Endymion Link 3 that came out recently, it has the same markers as the aformentioned and a good effect to boot.

I feel like markers just aren't important anymore so I prefer Decode to them because of the target protection and that he's huge.
You can play the other ones, I just prefer Decode.

For a Pendulum Decks the Markers still matter, also Selene can special summon one of the Magicians from the grave to go for a Lv.8 Synchro or Rank 4 play.

I've been away from the game since about the time Lair of Darkness was released; what is Master Rule 5?

Fusion, Synchro, and Xyz monsters can be summoned to the main monster zone again without the use of Link monsters. Pendulum monsters Pendulum summoned from the extra deck and Link monsters still need to either go to the extra deck monster zone or a zone a Link monster points to.
Basically, Fusions, Synchros, and Xyz rules have been reverted back to pre-Master Rule 4 while Pendulum and Links stay the same.

Well the deck clearly made a good board but because the salad player made pyro pheonix instead of setting up distruptuon. They could have easily destroyed your field with heatleo modifying 38's attack and using another salad to beat over apollousa then set roar with its relink effect by sending it with gazelle. He had game on board easily he just misplayed. Also the ash was such a horrible misplay. Your board was already irrelevant because of DRNM so he should have kept it for turn 3.
