I'm sure others have said this, but if the Republicans won't let the tax cuts stay unless the rich get them too, then I will gladly pay a bit extra to get the country back to sanity. Let the tax cuts expire. Anyone with me?

They keep talking about how the deficit and debt is dragging the country down, but somehow unpaid tax breaks should be extended? They always harp on liberals as "tax and spend", but they're hypocrites and doing even worse..."tax-breaks and spend". Then when they DO talk about spending cuts it's cuts in education, social services, welfare, etc...while oil companies get subsidies blah blah you've heard it all before but I just don't understand why they can fuck with us so much even when they're in the minority. I will be fine with a small tax increase...I'll just have to drink less expensive beer. I'll add in another percentage point if they promise to shut the fuck up and start legislating with some dignity.
