Vib Ribbon (PAL/Europe) not loading

Technical Support: SOLVED

Title. Whenever I load the NTSC-J/Japanese version of Vib Ribbon, I can load it in no problem, but when I load the PAL/European version of the game, it gives me a black screen.

I've tried just about everything -- changing core settings, trying all 3 available PSX cores (Beetle PSX HW, Beetle PSX, PCSX ReARMed), going into the core config folder file and setting the disc read type from "sync" to "precache", nothing seems to be working. It's not a bad file or a bad BIOS, I tested it in ePSXe and got it running just fine in there.

I only did all of that just before I generated the log, so apologies if anything seems to be missing from there.

edit: "core config folder"... I meant "core config file".

The SHA1 checksum of scph5502.bin is different than expected, which means that the BIOS is either the wrong version or corrupt. It may work fine in ePSXe, but the RetroArch cores refuse to work if the BIOS isn't the right version that the core needs. Try to replace it with a different file with a SHA1 checksum of 'F6BC2D1F5EB6593DE7D089C425AC681D6FFFD3F0' (You can generate the SHA1 here).

That works! I had a scph5552.bin file with that checksum, so I renamed it to scph5502.bin and now Vib Ribbon's working! Thanks!
