It's Eurovision, what do you want? This is the competition that gave the world Celine Dion, After all.

Was that a fucking Segway? Good god. He sure steven seagaled off that Segway onto his feet with nary a quiver, didn't he. I'd keep an eye on that guy, he seems dangerous.

Pretty amazing alright, but I'm going to have to give it to these guys: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0318034/ The whole movie is one long steady cam shot. The whole thing.

yeah, I clicked the link and saw the duration and said "yeah, not as long as Russian Ark"

I'm sorry but it doesn't even get close to Goodfella's Copacabana shot.

When I think of amazing steadicam shots, this scene usually comes to mind. However, I think that Goodfellas scene is still better.

Yikes!
It's been so many years since I watch that scene... I got chills.

I think this duo do a better job, and they probably designed the shot themselves.Seeing as this is being broadcast live with a huge worldwide and studio audience, it becomes even more impressive

Well, of course. The Copacabana scene is most definitely one of the best tracking shots of all time. I'm not saying this is the best Steadicam shot of all time by any means; rather, I'm making fun of the rather unprofessional manner in which it was filmed.

Yeah I was sorta getting that vibe :D
Couldn't help it though, I love watching that scene and bringing it up whenever I can it's so fuckin amazing.

Same here, man. I actually found this gem through related videos of that scene.

For aficionados of this sort of thing:

Touch of Evil ... 1958 American crime thriller film, written, directed by, and co-starring Orson Welles.

The movie opens with a three-minute, twenty-second continuous tracking shot widely considered by critics to be one of the greatest long takes in cinematic history.

IMHO the film is very good but would have been better if Welles had been slightly more explicit about what was going on in the latter part.

Are you sure it's not wirecam?

Either way, it still doesn't beat Russian Ark.

Atonement has a pretty good scene on the beach
