My daughter relieved these pants as a gift for Christmas and holed the knees the day she got them. Crying happened. Mom to the rescue!

Looks like you’re a great mom, rain or shine! Wonderful fix.
This is such a cute fix :D
Twice as cute as before!
Awesome idea and execution!
Adorable!! They should have sold them like that :)

Sorry. Copy editor for life.
I know! I didn't realize until I had submitted. It kills me.
Was trying to think of something funny using pants and relieved, but nothing came to mind.
Don’t stress over it. You’d think Reddit would allow people to edit their titles. Because they don’t, we sometimes get hilarious mistakes.

I wonder how they did that... It's beautiful
I love the mending but it really annoys me that new clothes would rip so quickly, especially when you consider how rough kids are on clothes!
Me too. I wish they were more durable. I was really annoyed. Not at her. She took a spill, as kids do, and luckily the pants were the most damaged part of her. I do miss places that would guarantee their clothes. I worked at Sears a decade ago and remember they had a no questions exchange policy on their kids clothes for exactly this kind of stuff.
I work at the store that these came from, the quality is pretty low but so are the prices. You get what you pay for I guess. But the fix looks great! Props for not just trashing them.
That was my thought. Mending has been a great way of stretching the life of cheaper made clothes. The kids appreciate the visible mending on most of their stuff anyway.
Now she's got sweet carebear style!
This is how they were meant to be I guess! What an adorable fix!!
Yay Mom!!!
These are amazing! 😊💖 And I think r/RainbowEverything will love them too!💖
Even better than before!
Came here to say this too! I just bought these leggings for my daughter- and your mending makes them so much cuter
Thank you! I had to edit the holes' shape to get it to look right. The patches were made from layers of old t-shirts.
