PMM seems to be spitting a lot of gas, running out fast. Normal?
So first off I'm a huge rookie when it comes to guns and airsoft in general. So excuse me if this is a dumb post, I will remove in that case.
Always had spring airsoft pistols but decided I wanted to get something with a more authentic feel.
Bought the Wei E Tech PMM gas pistol (the one with the added suppressor). Absolutely love it but it seems like when I'm emptying my clip fairly fast it starts spitting out all the gas. Allowing me to shoot only 5-10 bullets.
Is there anything I might be doing wrong? I'm using green gas. Not doing anything weird with it. I figured maybe I'm not filling the mag up all the way (gas), but the amounts of gas that it spits are pretty high.
Thanks in advance :)

Okay, easy maintenance first.
Air bubble (most likely):
See the round peg-like protrusion on the back of the mag (called the valve)? Push it down. Then, holding the valve down, fill the mag for about 5 seconds with gas. This should clear the air bubble.
Slide dirt:
Sometimes, dirt or grime makes the cycle sluggish and inefficient. Give it a quick clean with isopropyl alcohol (to remove dirt and oil), then some decent silicone oil.
Mag fully inserted:
Check if you can press the mag up a bit, and if so does it make any significant difference?
Awesome, thanks for your input. Im not at home tonight but I am tomorrow, I'll follow your checks step by step and see if anything helps 👍
I'll keep you posted!
Cool, hope it goes well!
Hey, so I checked all the things you said and it seems the problem is still there.
The one thing I have noticed tho, is that it seems to only happen when I have the suppressor on.
I tested it without and it worked fine. Tested it with and about 5 shots into my clip it spits out all its gas. Maybe the added weight from the suppressor is allowing movement that allows the gas to escape?
I took a video of it, you can kind of see the gas escaping in it, I had like 10 bullets left in the clip afterwards https://streamable.com/rk9s0
Sorry to bother you with it but I'm quite clueless and can't find any good sources on the internet to fall back on.
Oof. Looks possibly like cooldown issues. Tell me; does the suppressor have much inside it? Or is it basically hollow?
