I know, I know, but I would like to at least TRY Final Fantasy XIV

So I have not heard many good things about Final Fantasy XIV. But as I watch some of the videos, I can't help but be interested in trying it for myself. I also hear that the subscription is free until the game is up to standards.

So what do some of you think about dropping the money for the game on the basis that it improves substantially?
