Where can I get a good king cake?
Sure, lots of bakeries say they have king cakes, but who has good ones?

As a former New Orleanian I've found it tough to find a decent one here. But last year I got 2 from Missouri Baking Company on the Hill and they were fantastic.
The hilarious part was calling around on the Sunday before Mardi Gras. Every store I called was like "we don't make them after Mardi Gras" but Mardi Gras is Tuesday! I know, I know, Soulard, etc. It's the principle of the thing.
