Made a Witcher medallion necklace. Just over 3 inches in diameter and 1.125 inches thick to house a small battery powered LED light inside. The light around the wolf’s mouth looks yellow in the photo but in reality it is just brighter red as that is where the LED sits.

This is super awesome!! What materials did you use? I’m big into wearable electronics/textiles but I never thought to merge the two!
Thanks! I used the following: -cardstock (black or any color is ok since you will be painting it) -craft foam (I used 1 mm but I think 2 mm might work better) -Mylar acetate film (matte, Dura-Lar film 0.005 or similar) -black spray paint (I used Rust-Oleum Textured Metallic Galaxy for a rough look with glittery specks)
The cardstock is for the front and back sides, and the rectangular strip that goes around the side of the cylinder. You might want to double up the backside for extra sturdiness. The cardstock strip should be equal to the circumference minus about 1 to 1.5 inches so there will be a gap. I used this gap as an opening for me to insert/replace the portable battery-powered LED light. So just make sure it is large enough gap to slip the LED through.
I also cut a rectangular strip from the foam the same width as the cardstock but longer in length. It should be about 1 to 1.5 inch longer than the circumference. After painting the foam strip, I glued it onto the cardstock strip. The excess length was used as a flexible “door” to cover the gap where you insert the LED light. It gets tucked inside and the friction holds it in place.
For the led light. I used something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07M84VNZK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_WnMf1PIM794Lc
Double sided tape to the inside back (I used topstick grooming tape, but that might be overkill). You also might want to attach the Mylar acetate film to the LED itself to get extra light diffusion.
Oh, I used a paper clip bent to serve as the ring to thread the necklace chain through. I cut a small slit through the top back and pushed the paper clip ring through.
